Hi, all!

I lost a coro baby during the night. I think its the one I helped, i really should know better by now.

It always makes me so sad to lose a baby.

I have pics but my stupid laptop will not upload off my camera, not sure if maybe I have the wrong cord? Anyways, I plan on clearing my memory card so I can take it camping with my girl scout troop this weekend. As soon as I do, I will upload the pics. By then I hopefully will have a couple silkies hatched too.

I have too scoot now, as its my 19th Wedding Anniversary and my hubby wants my attention. have a good night!

no, I meant beards ... they are from my rumpless clean faced araucana hen that free ranges with my blue wheaten ameraucana roo

Wow... busy day! Happy Birthday Mar! Have your cake and eat it too! AND Happy Anniversary WTHChristi! I just went and sat with my chickens for a while. Always calms me down. I "think" I am down to 2 roos and 4 hens on the Juvenilles and 1 roo and 4 hens on the 5 week babies... or atleast I HOPE that's where I am. I am going to keep both Juvenille roos. I wouldn't be able to stand parting with either of them. They're little cuddle muffins. The baby roo is Natalie, whom I am assuming should have been named "Nate" as he's already doing the full blown hackles up thing. Once again I should be doing homework, but here I am...

my eggs from bigboy are all hatched out- I had 14 to start, 10 made it hatching and 8 made it out. these are for my buff laced project. cute but so different looking them mine.

I now have 18 happily developing BLRW's between the ages of 1-11 weeks... so hoppy... think you might wanna do a bloodline swap next year?? I'm NPIP **nudge nudge wink wink**

ETA I'd even drive them to Maine... GREAT excuse to go to Portland
