I have plenty of the bright pink ones and am more than willing to share. Would you like me to send you a big one? They multiply at a moderate pace once established. Nothing overwhelming, but you can get enough to separate and spread about, if you want, or leave them to form a large clump. You will get offsets faster if you start out with a large bulb.

I have a crinum ratrayii that is about to bloom. Large white flowers and the foliage is ridgid and pretty much goes straight up. Lovely and interesting. Got squashed flat in Ike. So flat that it was below the ground surface after the tree was removed and the tree workers and electrical people had shuffled about. I couldn't even find it! I was so pleased when it re-imerged!

Bright pink would be great! I would love one!
Brindle, if you get a chance when you're bored, could you post more pics of your garden? I do love perennials, and your garden(s) must be lovely.

My garden looks a bit brdraggled right now. The earlier flush is over and the heat is taking its toll because I haven't been watering like I should. Which I will do today!

Crinum ratrayii - you can see some of the rigid erect foliage

Crinum Ellen Bosanquet - If this picture was in the correct orientation, your crinum bulb would be low center. Makes very long leaves.

Pass Along Pink crinum - not as floriferous as some. VERY old crinum that was passed along early this century. I dug these up from an old abandoned house site in the country. Lovely soft pink bloom. If you can give it some midday shade and lots of TLC they bloom really well. Mine is currently pouting because its shade is all gone. Hopefully it will adapt. The plants in question are the semi-erect foliage in the center of the photo. Would you like one of these? Offsets well.

PM me your address please and I will get these in the mail as soon as i find a box!

Oh Mary, I so hope you can make it to the chickie trade on Saturday in Orange? I have bantam cochins and MFD'uccles announcing their manhood. Very uncool. I'm having to bribe the neighbors heavily with tomatoes and eggs. Promised they would be gone this weekend! Are we on?

So, I hatched 7 lav/ split chicks from my last batch of orp eggs....2 were lav, 4 black split and the last one was a yellow colored with a lav spot on its back??? Where did this little chickie come from? Anyone else end up with an oddball chickie from lav orps?

Don't know that my 2 cents counts since it was not an orp... but thought I would put it out there!
