I figured this was too cute not to share.
the backhoe is not ours but sort of a standing joke that every time it visits (new project) my kids get in the bucket and get their picture taken. the first time, the youngest could stand straight up in it and had head room.

Yay, very excited about the silkie eggs and olive eggs coming. I am reading the 100 page lav silkie genetic thread to try and understand the genetics side of things. I barely passed biology, way over my head, lol. I just started silkie eggs from Catdance Silkie (3 dozen

) as well and she included 8 lav eggs from her project pen of a lav roo with daughters of her porcelain hen. Will these be splits as well? Very, very confused.

Really wish I was closer to all of these awesome chickenstocks. I am jealous.

Well Nava keeps posting it in various places! Its hard to forget that picture if you have seen it even once! And I have been 'fortunate' enough to have seen it several times, now. Oh my eyes!
