I just got new progressives and still take them off to read. I really don't like progressives. I can't wear contacts because of Sjogrens.

I hope you get what you want, too! If they have any sense at all, they should give a woman what she wants!

Well, I have a confession, and it will make me look ridiculous (which is actually pretty normal for me).

I got gobs of my hair stuck in a glue fly trap yesterday.


I know. *sigh*


I have long hair and was working near one in the chicken yard and the wind blew my some of may hair into it. It was just like the tar baby. I'm wondering if the dang trap will even work anymore because I left so much hair on it. I had to wash my hair in mineral spirits and then Dawn dish soap. Of course DH was home and got a good laugh out of it. I made his day.

Note to self: always tie hair up before working in the chicken yard.

Actually, I thought about that today! Just as well. You wouldn't have been able to see anything but a big stuck together rat's nest of hair right in front of my face! It was really, REALLY, a mess! So a picture wouldn't have helped because you couldn't have seen the mortified expression on my face. I never have appreciated how sticky that glue has to be to keep those flies on. We aren't going to mention dead inseacts in the hair, either.
