Im great--hey that 1 Amaracauna hen I bought from you is doing great-she had made best friends with the 2 white midget turkeys I bought that day too:) They all roost together high up-higher than all the rest in the garage-cutest thing when they call for eachother!

Cool! I think Hedwig ( the white girl I hatched from you ) will be laying soon, very red in the face! She'll be five months old next Wed.! She is beautiful! Can't wait to see the egg!

That girl you bought from me will also be 5 months next Wed. Same hatch! That should be a blue egg right?

I am dying for some Mille Fleur Bantam Cochins! I had 5 eggs in that batch from onthespot but nothing hatched. Not surprised, they shipped from CA. There's an auction going now from TN. Just haven't found the courage to hit the bid button!

yes -I think she did lay once or twice but when I have 6 hens in there that all lay colored eggs Im not sure if it was her blue egg??

I have 1 bantam cochin I hatched from mary's eggs-My bantam hatched it out-its a roo and full of spunk-he's yours if you come to my chickenstock:) maybe Ill mate him to my miller fluer to try and get a cochin mix when he's old enough:)

Do you eat the eggs of these birds during treatment or even right after? What about meat birds...wait before butchering?

I do I eat them:) The meat-nope Id wait the 2 weeks. The eggs dont worry me as much as the meat would as the chemicals get trapped in the tissues of the bird not in the eggs per say..

Poor thing! Cindy, get yourself some of those plastic bag type fly traps, but instead of water, put in vinegar and sugar. Attracts flies like crazy and won't smell disgusting. I have 2 hanging and you'd be amazed how many flies you catch .

My progressives took a few weeks to get used to, but it was well worth it not to have that line in the middle. I got the contacts. I think I did pretty well with them yesterday. I wore them to work, I could def. read more stuff near and far, but the clearness had a shadow, so I'm thinking I need to get the angle of the astigmatism changed next week. But I had them in for 14 hours, then because it's so dry at work, my eyes got real red and I took them out.

One of my JG chicks "may" have coccidiosis, he was all puffed up, so I put stuff in their water.

Thank gosh the neighbor is back, now I won't have to squeeze thru the fence anymore, yeah!

Do you put it on the bird? How much do you use?

I do. I flip the birds upside down and seperate a patch that exposes the skin above the vents-3 drops for grown bantams and 5-6 drops for LF-if it gets on their feathers and not skin-youll have to do it again because It wont work:-(

I use it too. I use about .4 ml for a chicken and .2-.3 for a bantam which ends up being about what Sonew uses. I spread the feathers on their back where their neck meets their back, and put it there. Make sure you get the one that has no withdrawel period.

my poor little chickies, someone bite off their toes! I have them in a raised pen and I noticed one was laying down alot, picked him up and he's missing one toe off each foot and another bird is missing one toe. that one is getting around ok, hopefully they will recover. these are the ones I got from big boy so they are now permanently marked (ouch!) . would a squirrel or chimpmunk do this? rats?
I'd expect if it was a raccoon, it would have taken the whole bird but it is 1x1" wire.
