hey guys I got a question, one of my splash orps has like a big ballon were the crop is I mean HUGE never seen anything like it, I push on it and feels like playdo, it leaves a mark were I push, but he eats and drinks good, he does every thing just like the others even gets up on the roost wich is about 4' high he's 4 1/2 months old. should I worry about it?

actually Elcie (with a C ) is just my nick name, it is a combination of my 2 real names.

I posted this in the emergengies section but was wondering if you girls could help me out...
got a hen that seems to have an infected cut above her eye....think it was caused by my roo

need best treatment without separation from flock. I already put ointment in her eye...do I need to remove scab over her eye?

I would go with injectable or oral antibiotics. Go to one of the vet or livestock supply companies if you don't already have stuff like that around. You'd have to give her the medicine at night so you wouldn't have to catch her. Geeze, that looks painful.
