I have had NO luck whatsoever hatching any shipped dun eggs.
I do have a dun quail bantam that I LOVE the color of but can't tell if it is a cockeral or pullet yet...hoping for cockeral for once so I can use him since I have no bantams, just would feel bad trying to put a standard over this one if it's a girl *sigh* things just can't be easy to get started.

need help for the ignorant here....I just hatched one of gretchen's polish(only 1 made it to the hatcher)..... do polish have vaults like silkies? I only have seen polish chicks from hatcheries so this is new to me but the one that hatched has a huge vault

I am so hoping for a good hatch and thank you for showing me this color- pretty.

and I think yes, some polish do have vaulted skulls.

it is by far my favorite color

chick seems fine so I am assuming it is normal, just didn't want to like it too much to just lose it

he still had that ballon looking thing on the chest, so I bring him in the hose around noon, did some stuff, rode LOLA and now I cant find him, Ilooked every where

my polish are on day 19....will candle tonight, lost track of time with dh here so they will go in the hatcher tonite

Oooo, I love Polish, I have 5 left. They are so sweet and goofy. And real cute chicks.
