Staffy Bulls are way cute! Their personality differs a bit in that they tend to be very needy of their owners and need lots of attention. He really does need obedience. If the whole family won't participate, then one person who can control him is better than none. He will become very attached to the person who he obeys.

There are some Staffy Bulls in agility - they can be WAY fast!

Staffy Bulls are what American Staffordshire Terriers were bred up (bigger) from. So they are my dog's progenitors.

You can't eat in your bedroom? Why? Is that normal? I stayed with one person one time who wouldn't let us have any food and not feed our dogs or even have kibble or food on the bedroom. I thought it was extremely strange. Do people do that a lot?

Well, this does seem to be the medical drama thread!

Told ya'll a little while back that i was diagnosed with inflammatory osteoarthritis, right. My low back had bothered me for years because of arthritis. While they were taking X-rays of my lumbar spine, they found I had also broken my back. The spinous process on the right side of L-4 has been broken off, and I never even knew it!

I have adult scoliosis that has been progressing a bit the last couple of years and they figure that is why, partly, at least.

I fell off the roof about 4 years ago and I figure that is when it must have happened. Landed on the ladder and knocked myself out. Woke up and staggered inside and passed out on the couch. Got up and was staggering for the bed when John came home and for some reason he stripped me and stuck me in the shower 'cause he thought it would help!

Had bruises you would NOT believe. Never went to the emergency room or anything 'cause I was up and walking around. Stupid. Not that they could have done anything.

awaiting blood results. I hope the yellow follows the increase in liver problems not at the same time because I'm more yellow today, feel like crap off and on (maybe it's related to eating I don't know) and having tiredness when going up the stairs again but either way, I get bloodwork results and supposed to have pill cam results all today.
I really hope these show something that we can fix.

oh brindle, that's aweful, ouch!! big ouch!

It was a big ouch, but didn't feel like i broke anything. Sitting on my butt on the bruising hurt worse than my back, at the time! I have some acreage on my butt, so it was a really big bruise!

Hoppy, hope the news is good today.

Let us know what you find out ASAP!

bRINDLE, ouch! I hope they can clean u up and at least maintain you. My DH had to get a disk in his neck repaired years ago and while the doc was in there, he cleaned out all the arthritis he could find. Nice doc.

Hoppy, with the jaundice, is your direct bilirubin high or your indirect high? One points to not keeping up with cleaning the dead red blood cells out of the blood, and the other deals with some kind of liver malfunction. Direct I think is a problem with the liver.

I'm thinking indirect because of your anemia, maybe you have alot of dead red blood cells floating around. Wish you and us had some answers already!

Usually with jaundice is not really feeling good, maybe loss of appetite, and fatigue. I see it in babies all the time.

results are back and my blood is improved, so that's good. the gi dr called said not much interesting on the pill camera, little irratation in my stomach and blood vessels that are close to the surface that could get irratated causing the bleeding. he really did not give me a very good feeling like he really looked at the test. he did not think 4 hours in the intestine was a problem because afterall, the camera spent most of its time in the small intestine and it's not good for looking at the large bowel. (that sounds like so much bull) said I should stay on the prilosec and when I pointed out how high my liver enzymes were, he didn't think it was related. so my other blood levels are much better as well but I can't figure out why I know have the whooshing in my ear again and can't make it all the way upstairs again. I'm seeing my primary care tomorrow morning (my gp left in the middle of all this, not on vacation like everyone else just moved away). I'm so nausated after I eat (about 1/2 hour) so I 'm on meds for that. it's been a whole month and I don't think we have any more answers today then we had before. also my bilirubin levels are not up so where is the yellow and the side pain coming from?
