Just got a call from her, they are in northern KY. just across the river from Cincinnatti. Pulling out at 6 AM should get here about 7 AM.

nooo this weekend! its going to be a torential downpour today up to 4 inches by tomorrow:-(

The second lot of 18 silkie eggs arrived and all have intact air cells (one slightly loose but totally hatchable).

As my title says.... but Now I am REALLY in trouble

Hoppy, Great to hear that the blood work has got a whole stack better. What about the lead/heavy metals? Maybe now that they have stopped taking blood for a while it will recover quicker!! How are you feeling now? Are you back at work?

And update on hatching eggs.. after the shockingly bad last 80+++ shipped eggs (4 chicks (yup 3 roos), and 4 eggs on lock down) I have finally had some great luck!! Won 12 silkies eggs, got sent 18. Perfect packaging. Thank you Kelar!!! 15 are developing!!!! It was SOOOO good and her silkies are such high quality that I HAD to get some more before the price became totally outrageous. I hope it does because she deserves it!!!!
These will mostly go to 4-H-ers which makes it even more fun.

I am feeling much better over all. I am trying a day at work on saturday and then slowly working back up to my full schedule if all goes well. the heavy metal screen was for lead, mercury and arsenic and all within normal or negative. so that is a dead end, since I'm feeling better, I'm not going to continue to look for a cause as at this point they might not ever find the cause but we will continue to keep track of my blood levels. my liver values are still slightly up so get one more recheck in 1 month.
Phage, you are going to love Kelar's silkies. I have 5 that are 8 weeks old out of 15 eggs. I love the colors I got. one dark buff, one light buff, a blue (could be a really dark splash), one white and one black and if feathering out is an indicator of sex, 2 and 3 but I don't know which is which yet.
we have a show this weekend with "fluff daddy"(silkie male) and the wyandottes. 2 are blr and one white. everyone got bathed and fluffed and now they are stocked away from the rain that is supposed to last for 2 days.
