We're on a BLRW roll!

A couple months ago, someone didn't want those so I took them in- was totally suckered in by their flashy splash coloring. Two cockerels and three pullets. They've been filling out last few days, let me know what you think of them? Nice or pet quality? Breeder?

Link to videos:

Whole group

Cockerel #1

Cockerel #2

NN is semi dominant autosomal.. shows up in a cross and visible difference between hom and het, makes it super easy to cross and also breed towards pure breeding. World dominance is easy!

Here's a pic of the 'best two' from the laced turken project:

They are brother/sister.. the(unrelated) 'mess' I have to pick out from are like these:

Have about 10 or so of those, will need to study on which ones to pick out and use for breeding. Lacing requires too many genes- Pg, Co, Ml, Db.. and need to be pure for every single one... my goal is also for total lacing, including the tail so I also have to worry about picking out birds pure for the birchen base. (wyandottes are mostly on eb- brown base, which is why their tails are solid colored instead of laced). That much I understand but no idea how to tell by the pattern which wildly patterned bird(like in last pic) has what, and hom or het for each one...

The lacing is nice, but a neck only a mother (or father) could love.

of the 2 cockerals, I'd say the 2nd one is nicer but that was a really short video on him. the other seems to have a white patch below the hackle which probably is lighting but the lacing is nicer and more even on #2.
didn't get a good look at the head.
everyone is showing off their blr- i'm showing this weekend and they are all prettied up, I better go take a picture too.
