I had a silkiie ankle biter once. I stalked him every chance I got , not letting him do anything without permission, for a week or two. We then became great friends, and I just loved him, and he didn't mind me picking him up and snuggling. He died last year, some neuro thing. I still miss him.

Chickens are fine. I have to put several roos together in a pen. It's not them fighting, just they all seem to want the same girls, and those girls don't know where to hide.
 
It finally cooled off here, the weather has been perfect. I've been spending alot more time with my horse and mule. Nothing much new here. Chicks are fine. I'm anxious to find out what color they will be. Right now they're a little bit of everything including partridge. Who knows.

I still want to hear all about Nat's Chickenswap. "We all had fun" isn't enough!

hey, I have great news!!! we have located a pair of white silkies for my son and they are getting picked up for me in NH tomorrow.

they are from the same breeder as Fluff Daddy so very excited!!!

just read, now I'm off to find the chickenstock thread to see all the pics!
