Nat and Lovin, would you like to test some Bantam Partridge Cochin eggs as well? The pullets are 6 months old now. So any day now I should be getting more eggs. Right now I'm getting a steady one a day.

Dak wants some so I figure if you guys do then that should be sufficient to test out fertility and my shipping skills. This will be my first time shipping eggs, but I figure I have received enough to know what's going on.

When's a good time, I can send them in the spring if you are done for the season...

what beautiful birds Dak. and good news, my new silkies are now here!

and just (almost) as beautiful as the original fluff daddy and he came with a girl friend. now I am going through hatching withdrawal - it must be a delayed thing. I have to have a chat with the hens, 23 chickens and I had to BUY eggs at the store- talk about embarrassing.

I've started up the lights about 1 week ago, I certainly hope I don't have to go through that embarrasment again any time soon.

I got my first egg yesterday from one of my BLRW, they were free ranging yesterday, every body and I got an egg in the BLRW pen but I was not sure couse every body was loose, so , I locked them up today and I got another egg, so I'm sure now that I got one, and I think that the hen came from Gretchen, that was my first batch back in Feb, I got 2 eggs
