I have a 2000sqft house on half an acre, 15 x 40 detached garage, well, septic, no local police, volunteer fire and rescue and $300 per year garbage and pay $6000!

DH used to think we couldn't afford to leave NJ, I've proven to him, we can't afford to stay!

I'd so rather spend that money in any other way!!! We live in the 3rd highest tax rate in the NATION!!!!!! SO SICK!!! Any it's only going to get worse, I'm sure! And DH has a pension coming that won't get state taxed if we live in PA. What more incentive do we need. DD finishes college in March. Anything after that is fair game!

no sales tax in DE either...actually pretty cheap state to live in... Can still get a lot for your money in the southern half of the state..land and house wise
