So glad you at least found them and know they are at least safe.

If my blrw girls ever start laying I would also be interested in an egg swap. They do not seem to be in a rush though.

Finally, after a very cruddy last month in chickens, this has been an awesome chicken week.

I hatched 2 coro/split babies who are now a week old and have over 30 coro/ split eggs currently in the incubator. Its going to take time, but slowly I will rebuild my coros. I am determined, I have spent way to much time and money to give up now.

Next, early in the month, when things were seriously sucking, Cowgirlgrace offered to incubate lavendar/ split orpington eggs for me from her beautiful flock as I have had just cruddy luck with them. She put in 24 eggs and hatched 22!! I just came from picking up 12 pure lavs and 10 split chicks that are absolutely adorable. I also bought an 8 month old pure lav roo from her who will make my 6 month old split lav pullets very happy. I lost my lav roo after I sold all my split roos so I had very lonely girls without a man.

I owe Cowgirlgrace a serious debt of gratitude as she has been awesome to me in my chicken endeavors. Many of my birds have came from her and I very much enjoyed "chicken talk" with her and learning more aboust apa standards and all the technical stuff.

If the weather cooperates pictures will be posted tomorrow.

Hi all, Found this thread last spring when reading posts on the BLRW auctions. You guys are crazy. Was looking to bid on a few but no way I was going to get in the middle of things. LOL Saw wthchristi today and talked chickens when she picked up chicks I hatched for her and she brought up this thread so thought I'd stop by and read a while. I have BLRW also but now I want Call Ducks! Sooo glad you found your ducks.

Aren't Corgis wonderful! We had one for 16 years and she just passed away last April. We missed her so much that we just got another one. She is 3 1/2 months and so much fun. We just love her.
