Patches is very good at that! She is worse than the kids with not listening!

What I would like to know is if someone is REALLY getting a roll of chicken wire for x-mas?

Or is that bubble wrap that I think looks like wire ready to be wrapped ???

It is a roll of hardware cloth for j to put in the lid of the brooder! Its a present for the chickens, but I don't think they need it wrapped!

At lest you care enough about your puppies that you make sure they go to good homes! A lot of people don't care, they just want the money.

No. If somebody I know wants a puppy and will be a good home I will give them one for free. I'm not in it for the money. Nice AmStaff pups will go for $500 up and I don't want that to stand between them and a good home. If somebody I don't know and wants a pup and doesn't have references from somebody I do know - boy, are they going to get interviewed and will probably pay a few hundred for a pup.

She looks like a little moo cow. She has had false pregnancies before, and at first I wasn't worried, but she has never taken it quite this far before. She's also very soft and squishy temperment wise (can you imagine) and her muscles are looking soft from hormones. Big ol' ninnies with big bright pink nipples! And one that may be slightly inflamed, so i need her checked for mastitis. We'll know tomorrow! Appt with the vet is at 10:30!

I have wanted to spay her each year and John always said no. I asked if he wanted to breed her and he said no, but we don't need to make a decision just now. FOR 5 YEARS! Betcha next time he'll say sure.

eta: it would be perfect if somebody else's girl dog had a litter by Bill!

I can hear you on the difficult decision part of doing that. We have a beautiful SQ light yellow lab. We search for a great breed dog and had everything tested and certified....and life just got away with us. She just turned 4 and I think we are spaying mid cycle this time.

We had a scare last winter when she was just at the ripe stage. The neighbor's big ole yellow climbed the very large snowbank outside the kennel after a snow storm. I went out to let her in and there were three dogs in my pen instead of 2!!! Boy was he caught! She did not take (lucky for my neighbor!). He did pay for the ultrasound though!

Trick is, I can't figure out how this happened, unless he bred her through the wire crate. I've heard of that happening before.

Anybody at all want a wall clock that has a little picture of a dog at each number that barks?

One of my students gave it to me..........thought maybe a kid would like it? Won't bark at night when it is dark. Don't know where they find this stuff..........though I do appreciate the thought.
