It's still -6 here and the sun is out. I don't wanna go outside! The high should be up to 11 today. I saw a bit of frostbite on my RIR combs, but I am not entirely sure I can catch those ladies to try the vaseline. I'm not sold on vaseline - I used it on my leghorns and didn't seem to do much but get them really dirty when they tried to rub it off. My leghorns, strangely enough, are really easy to catch and handle but the RIR - not so much.
