It is fine. It seems to be good so far with temp, coming up good. I didnt touch anything yet! Its at about 100 right now.

Where are you measuring at...just wondering. I always put the thermometer even with the top of the eggs and had the temp set at about 101.5 since it's a still air.

BTW - Have you used an inucbator before? If so, let me know and I'll quit being sucha busy body and let you do your thing!

Just turn the black lacing to white (creamish white) with Dominant white. You still need CO/Pg/Ml for lacing.

Ok, so when they are done, they will all have dominant white. I get it now.

Yeah the thermometer is about even where the top of the eggs will be. Its at about 101.0 now. I had another thermometer, so I stuck that in there, and they are the same so thats good lol.
No I have never used an incubator before. Well sort of , I rigged up a home made one with a cardboard box and heat lamp when my broody decided she wasnt going to do it anymore after sitting for a week and a half. She only had a few eggs and they were all viable, so I had to do something lol. And they all hatched, so I must have done something right!
But I could use the help this being my first "real" incubator! I'm sure I will need it!
