Surprisingly YES! If I am in a funk...I go out and weed. I can't wait until March/April. I planted so many tulips, hyacinths, irises...I can smell them now!

BEAUTIFUL MUGGS!!!! Mark does all the gardening! He loves it--My chickens do enough work for the compost pile he turns! LOL I am not a gardener of flowers but would love a garden and I suck at tomatoes too!!!

I still try...every year. I'm going to have to start my plants inside like C and J...instead of paying $5 for a tomato plant. I can't wait to use the alpaca and rabbit sh*t pile. My friend gave me a "recipe" for tea bags. Sounds completely inappropriate.

We take the shavings and all and dump it on, then grind it in when we till. It made a HUGE difference in our tomatoes and rhubarb last year. Actually it made a big difference in everything.

Look for wall-o-waters. They are kinda expensive, but you could also make your own. They will keep your plants from freezing with those late frosts, and they water them and pull and keep the heat from the sun in the soil.
