Ok since we do not have a camera... the girls feet will have more grey/black paint over the yellow/pink leg color. Girls legs/feet will be darker and the dark will carry further down the legs and some toes.

I hope I am describing it well.

I tried to get one of him, but he wouldn't cooperate. His tail, saddle, and hackle feathers are barred, as are the top layer of his wing feathers and the rest of him in a smoky gray. He is gorgeous! I'd love to know where he got the barring from!

That sound just like a roo that we hatched out around halloween. He is blue with some barring throughout. I believe he is out of a blue am, and a cuckoo maran roo. I don't know if we are going to keep him for some "projects" or not but he was crowing at about 7 weeks old so I know it's a roo
