OK, so I get up early to get ready for work and clean my car off. Wonderful hubby comes out to help me, even though it is his day off and I told him to sleep. Get the car all cleaned off in time to go to work, head out the driveway, can't even make it up the little hill in my driveway, let alone up the 1/4 mile lane to the main road. Of course, the rest of the county offices are closed today because of the weather, but 911 and the jail still has to go. Ugh. Hope I can make it there at some point.

About a 1/2 inch so far! Dispatch called for John at 11:45pm so he had a couple hours of sleep! Em's college is on delay but hoping that might change! Just crazy! Hope that little groundhog is frozen shut in his hole!!!!!

I made it in to work. J plowed a little and drove me up to the main road. Once I got up there and got going, main roads are just wet and it is raining here.

Well, made it through the night with power, suprised me. Went to bed early, figuring the lights would be going out shortly anyway. Was raining hard then, had 8-10" ice sickles hanging off the outside light. It warmed up, I saw 39 at one point through the night and got very windy, which melted and dried alot of the ice, at least on the driveway and road. The temp. is going the other way 28 and light snow now. Wife just called, made it in to work ok, biggest problem was limbs on road, said alot of dark houses that usually are lit up. Just now getting light enough to see how much wood came down.

C. Glad you made it safe! John said it's crazy out there! Supposed to stop around noon and temps should rise! Here's hoping!

It'll be interesting to see what makes it in the garden.

eta we had a freeze out for training class last night and my boss wants to have class tonight - outdoors! I am seriously going to freeze my azz.
