I feed scratch and peck grower feed because I have some young ones who aren’t old enough yet to be on layer with them.

Chicken scratch is supposed to be a treat. Treats should be less than 10% of their diet.

It’s not scratch, that’s the brand name! It’s feed! Specifically grower feed. You can google the brand and see.

Ok! What about the dried bug treats? Only bc they don’t free range won’t they need them in their diet?

They don't "NEED" them, they do love them though! They are good protein, but can sometimes be high in fat. I do give mine the occasional handful of mealworms, you just have to be careful not to feed too much.
