sharpie emergency.... how do I get sharpie markers out of the couch?

Hairspray!!! works like a charm I use it on everything my kids happen to scribble on. grrrr

The BEST stain remover ever. It is $0.98 at Wal-Mart!

I use baby wipes. It works great. My youngest did that to our couch too. If that doesn't get it all out, try "KrudKutter". You can get it at True Value. It's a spray. It got orange koolaid out of my white carpet. It got dried blood out of my carpet. I got grease from my DH out of my carpet. And gum and maplesyrup....it just erases it! It's cheap too!

sharpie markers will bleed when you put alcohal, hairspray and nail polish remover on it! We use them for our art business and they ain't gonna work! It will be stained forever!

Darlene I just saw this thread! I am so sorry about both, your couch and your puppy.

I was glad to read that the puppy is ok. You could try calling the company you bought the couch from. Sometimes they have special cleaners just for the certian fabric. We bought a leather couch and it is guaranteed. If we get anything on it we are to call them first, they will try to help us over the phone, then come out to try to get it out themselves. Maybe they can help you, even without the warranty they may have an idea we haven't thought of. Good luck!
