My phone says 26 here this morning. Mason came to the door and before I even got it all the way open he backed up, said forget that and went back to bed.

Kind of a cute/funny thing, Mason never gets let out the front door unless we are on leash going somewhere and he knows that. But if we are in the living room he will touch his nose to the doorknob and look at me to tell me he wants out.
The only time he touches his nose to the back door knob is in winter.
I swear he is checking the temperature!
Sometimes he'll walk back here put his nose on the doorknob then turn around and walk out.

That is hilarious and adorable! LOL Brewster doesn’t check the temperature like that but he’s so good now and won’t step a toe outside unless I tell him he can even with it wide open. And he waits for me to hook his leash up too then happily trots out. However if it’s raining or otherwise bad weather he will absolutely refuse
