I think the chemicals in the pool water could really harm him. Goggle the chemical names and see what comes up.

My dogs never ate grass - if they wanted to upchuck they just did

I just use a chlorine tablet and shock every once in a great while.
It surely couldn't be too bad I can't have the only dog that drinks out of the pool.

Of course he drinks from here as well and there's duck poo in there

The thing is he likes his water ice cold. He loves to drink out of an ice chest and munch on ice cubes. So if he is outside he is going to find the coldest water he can and the larger bodies of water are normally always going to be cooler than the dog bucket.

I could swear i clicked on muddy75!
Good grief.

And i do refill the dog bucket sometimes twice daily and i keep it in the shade. And he can drink his water he has inside. he is just a stinker.

Mine drink a ton of pool water!!! Never hurt any of the dogs.....we live in an area of high chlorine tap water too and no problems

BYC has been acting crazy lately!!!

And Gator was extremely picky with his water too!! And oddly my brothers dogs are too.

They all prefer/preferred outdoor water. Gator would drink from the little pond in the garden or from a bucket on the deck or wherever. Much preferred it to inside. Though he would drink inside too. But it had to be clean. No spit. he would drool in it and suddenly it was no good

Oddly he loved toilet water though lol

DB’s dogs used to drink from the bird bathes and still do but once they moved the outdoor bowl from the deck to the dirt and shade, they started drinking out of it
