There should be 8 pure breds in the group of 17. Or they are crosses, you never know what you'll get from craigslist I guess. Nice bright chicks though.

You can show them, you just have to list then as "NR" non-recognized on the registration. They will most likely put them in the 'rare and exotic" area and they will be judged against themselves, which means nothing.

I have been showing legbars that way for a few years. I am going to show a toad next fall.

If you are not on a qualifying show, it does not matter. They will just judge them however they want. I would pin the SOP to the cage so whoever judges them at least sees there is one.
