Home from work and went straight to helping the duckies out. Somehow I could immediately sense this one was ready to come out.

Little dude was clearly foot over head malpositioned. No way he was ever getting out on his own.

A large percentage of mine are foot over head. I don't know why.

Brahma num 3 has perked up nicely..

My duck yard is done finally! Their house isn't but they have temporary digs in the new run/building for night time. Pics follow, color suggestions welcome!

Oh yes. . it will be ok mama duck they gots lot more feathers than mine did when I kicked them out. I know it's hard. Mine cried for me too.

Lol, I'm probably not going to keep the two grays, and I'm about to go sex them all so some males might be heading out of here.

So the chickens looked a bit unsettled on my camera so I went to check. Caught a possum sniffing around. Nasty tree rats! I don't see how it could get in but not nice to scare the babies their first night out. Chased with rocks but it'll be back.
