View attachment 1334502 OMG. I can't handle the cuteness!
Only if you look like this guyWould you like me to send you my picture...then they would look really ugly next to it......
ThanksI'm glad I at least got 2. But wow. . 2 out of 15 is so sad! Why do they have to be so difficult.
Other 4 are confirmed not gonna hatch. View attachment 1334661 They all looked pretty much like this. Egg topsy revealed nothing I could tell was wrong other than just never pipped internally. Membrane was all brown and dried up in there.
One Cayuga egg is a quitter no veins and all slosh y inside. But still going with the Other three
Oh. . and three of the 4 I just egg topsied looked pastel
One looked like a grey.
Wow! That's really really sad.Hatching Calls is difficult all around... the smaller and more to type they are, the lower the hatch rate...
Cuteness' first season laying, I hatched 3 from 30-40 eggs...
If I looked that bad I would become a hermit and hide my face!Only if you look like this guyView attachment 1334685
Ask all the questions you want hereWow I knew they were hard to hatch but that's some tough numbers. Knowing that, you getting those 2 beautiful babies makes them extra wonderful.
I'm getting more nervous about mine. They are so shaken! They are @ day 11 now. I was reading pyxis' hatching article about laying them on their sides but slightly angled. Should I shut the turner off and angle them? I could turn them but not as often as the bator.
Sorry for the derail.
