I really would love to, but since the weather is finally better, I've got so much to do outside, and I have a hatch going on (bantam cochins and cream legbars) so I guess I'm going to have to miss it.![]()

I just found out today they usually have a couple a year, so maybe you can make the next one. Good luck with the hatch!
So you guys will know this answer for me. I asked elsewhere but no reply.
Eggs came in the mail today. Super excited about them. One broke and there's a little yolk on a few, not tons just a bit. Should I clean that off of them? These eggs are remarkably clean so they may have been washed? Just in case that matters.
I'd be more inclined to consider actually washing but these look soooo clean. Aren't all waterfowl eggs pretty much always dirty?Personally, I'd take a damp paper towel and just wipe the goo off. I don't wash eggs, but I have wiped parts of them.
Ralphie can give you his sterilization speech too.

I'll try to get that off, really dried on good though.

I'll try but communications are a bit spotty, she's a busy one.Could you ask the seller if they washed them?
Sterilize those eggs!!! Make them safe to hatch....protect the unborn with bleach and water...So you guys will know this answer for me. I asked elsewhere but no reply.
