I'm not sure - did you happen to get a picture? Any kind of bad smell? Where these shipped?

No bad smell and not shipped. They came from the girl i got the brahma eggs from... i did get a pic but dont know how to "spoiler alert" and its pretty gross..

Well, the hatch is in full swing over here. I'm down to 11 since I lost two that were in really bad malpositions - one had its head tucked down its belly and under the yolk, and the other was the same with the addition of being backwards in the egg. I did what I could but they didn't make it.

The other eleven are all coming along, I have their air cells opened and they're oiled up.
