Congrats on the beautiful baby! Looks like a smart one somehow too.
I read everything you guys say amud link to about colors but it's confusing stuff! I'm trying to learn, might need a book?
I was looking back through duckling photos and see that one of my grays had down that was dark and nearly gray vs dark and yellow. Does that mean anything?
They are so close now but one has a different wing stripe and lighter color along the tail(the duck butt on the right in the pic). Duckling number 1 I think. I'll have to get some better pics today. How does that one look now? Can you post comparison pics?
It all confuses me too.. but we'll eventually get it down...They are so close now but one has a different wing stripe and lighter color along the tail(the duck butt on the right in the pic). Duckling number 1 I think. I'll have to get some better pics today.

I think it is ok for a few minutes. These 2 are running around good, eating, drinking, poopin.. but their down is still kinda "crusty".. would a warm bath in shallow pan be ok as long as i keep em warm and get them dry quickly? I did with the geese but these guys are just so tiny im not sure if its ok...![]()
Ok... thanks Shaw...I think it is ok for a few minutes.
