It's all so fascinating. I have had tiny zebra finch birds over the years and lots of my little hens have been broody but my sweet girl now never has. I guess it depends upon the individual.

Maybe.. but i dont know. I've never had finches.

That's all I've had. They are full of personality and very cute. But I really love birds anyway. It's fun seeing y'all's pics and hearing stories about the birds.

I would love to see pics if you have any. I had a budgie several months ago but she died not long after i got her and havent gotten up the courage to try again..

I love her. She is such a sweet little girl. Look at how content she is. She's imprinted on your foot.

I only had her a few weeks at best and she was young. She was fine one min and literally gone an hour later. No idea why...
I may get a pair at some point down the road but not just one again, I worry that she was lonely but im not sure.

I have spent several days running the 2 geese back out of building. Its been hot so i have to leave the front door open and there is no screen door or anything. Anyway, i moved the tall oscillating fan over in front of the door to bring in more cool air and now the geese wont come in. It isnt blocking the door but they stand just outside staring at it and "talking" quietly to each other for a min or two then walk away .....
