I had a chewer this year too. She has stopped finally, thank goodness, but she kept chewing the baby down right off the backs of all the others.

Maybe because of that awkward head crest stage!
Did you do anything to stop it? This guy only picks the other shetland not the crosses.

I'd like to know also. I'd assume overcrowding and boredom but I've worked hard to avoid that from day 1. I've also speculated being overly bonded to me.

Honestly, I'm not sure. As soon as they were out on grass full time she stopped, so it may have something to do with that.

I didn't, aside from offering things to distract her, and now that they're living outside on grass, she's stopped. They're little grass fiends, lol. I have to keep moving the run - you can see just how far they can stretch their necks beyond the fence by the ring of grass around it that's been eaten.
