Speaking of molting, Jana, you said some of the white feathers were going away on your Cayugas? Magenta is getting snowflakes all over her chest now

Ok! I'll take one tomorrow. I'm really thinking I'm correct about her being a girl. . she has been occasionally making a little honk sound. If I'm not hearing things lol.

Well I'm back from my driving trip! And somewhat caught up on sleep too. Six states in five days. NJ MD PA DE WV VA! 7 counting home.

Fierce heat wave here and my Spike faverolles roo is sick . One mixed gosling(a pomeranian I guess!) somehow developed angel wing while I was away.

Shetlands colored up nice while i was gone. Maggie missed me and keeps sleeping in my lap. The geese launched a coup and the savages(dux) terrorize them much less now. Unless one goose gets separated, then the dux band together and terrorize.

No idea how that happened so fast! They grazed barely at all while I was gone but their food is only 16% protein. I have to try to tape it I guess. Might post in goose forum for best method, I tried last night but was afraid I'd hurt her.
