The flight feather s are there, but they are enclosed within the pin. They haven’t ‘ bloomed’ yet

My gosling developed it around 5 weeks over the 4 days I was out of town.

I was messing with her wing today but it feels like the bones are all set up already. I taped and taped but didn't fix. Apparently I'm not good at it.

Well. . I put duck and Jane, my original pair out in the palace with the other ducks this evening. They spent about 5 days in a pen next to the palace . . then 5 more in the pen inside the palace. . with short supervised free time daily. It hasn't been going as good as I was hoping it would. Today they seemed to get along pretty well No attacks. . just getting bossed and run around some. But still I'm worried I may have rushed it. Jane is smaller than everyone else and older. . gawd I hope she doesn't get hurt.

I'm wondering if integration to each other is always more challenging dealing with calls than it is other breeds of ducks? Or is it just my calls.
Mine are like snooty high school mean girls!
The Cayugas have not been that bad about accepting the new ones at all. Maybe a little bossy but no attacking.

Dang it. I do not want him to look like a deformed airplane. I am going out if town for a week, is it safe for me to leave the bandage on? It is really flexible. ( the wing)
He was in chick starter, same as the other ducks and what I have always used for them. I thought it was okay for Calls

I feel stupid, but is that a rhea? Looks too small to be an emu. Gorgeous bird.

I've integrated the first two hatchlings here... they all did great but its the older calls first time with newbies so idk if its that or what?
