I've been looking for the perfect rescue to be a buddy/buddies for Mako. Do you remember when I was PMing you about that runner a million years ago? Well I'm still looking. I'm tossing around sticking some eggs under her too, because she's so broody, but nothing has really hit my 'GO' button yet

He hasn't done his juvenile molt yet so he isn't as colorful as the other drakes. But I can see some brown variation on his chest. . it will be cool to see what color traits will come out from Howard. He has a lot lighter bill than the others. . wouldn't it be so cool if it turned orange
He is silly like Howard was too.
Hubby and I have been arguing about getting rid of sly and ninja.
I know guess will end up being a problem eventually But so far the boys hang out together and the girls hang out together and they don't bother each other. So hubby wants to keep them all he says he will build a pen to separate them if they become a problem. He wants to get more girls for them all
Which would be great if we were in the country and if I wasn't the one who has to do all the cleaning up after them
Every time I say I'm going to try to list them for sale he says "then list your call ducks for sale"

I told you I'd keep you posted, I just haven't had anything to post yet. Theres been a few 'maybes' these past 2mo's I've been looking, but they haven't been 'right' for whatever reason. I've held off a few days or a week & someone else ends up adopting them (thank Heavens.) I'll finish getting a duck appropriate quarantine pen step up the next couple days & if they're still available I will seriously consider driving downtown to get them.

He loves the Cayugas.

So do I! When Debs @Debs Flock got Baby Cricket I fell forever in love. I'd really like to have Runners or Muscovy's & there's a lot of those around here for sale, but both of those would be wrong for Mako.
