I’ve seen a few western conifer seed bugs too. The look similar to assassin bugs.

I think the conifer bugs have a greenish shape on the back of the body. I noticed they were different when looking up pictures. I have an abnormal fascination with bugs. Half the stuff I see around here are invasive and killing trees left and right.I've seen those too, but didn't know what they were. At first I thought they were squash bugs.
