Such a bummer. I lost my favorite hen a few months ago and did a ton of research to find a new one… settled on barred rock and only got one. This one was supposed to help me heal and now I have to re-home.

I’m in South Dakota… we did get some other chicks but this was the only barred rock. We bonded immediately.
I’m sure we will be fine but I do need to figure out how to re-home him how as we can’t have roosters
