I’m going to cry :hit This little cutie crowed the morning! It’s 15 weeks old, and it’s my favorite chicken. It’s the cutest, tiniest, sweetest little chicken I’ve ever seen. I love it to pieces :love I got it out of the bantam bin along with some others. I already have bantam Cochins and silkies, and *she* is a fraction of their size. So my questions are: (1) It’s 100% a cockerel, right? No crowing pullets?? (A stretch, I know, but I’m desperate), and (2) what kind of chicken is it? I was thinking spangled OEGB, but it doesn’t look like those roosters to me. Please help! Thank you!!

Are you sure it was her that crowed? Because that is definitely not a rooster. Really old hens will sometimes start to crow, I have never heard of a crowing pullet before but I am sure it has happened before.

First off, when I saw this I laughed out loud. This is literally my life every time I get new chicks. My favorite chicks always turn out to be males!:barnie But yes, your little chick looks like A PULLET to me! :yesss:Beautiful little girl, so petite and cute!:love Looks just like a Spangled OEGB! :thumbsup
Lucky, at least your turned out to be a pullet! :lau
