Went to the coop to get breakfast & here's what I found.

I have read that it's called a "wind egg." My Welsummer has produced a couple of them. There's no yolk inside.

I love finding them- I call them "luck" eggs. I save mine in a birds nest, for decoration...

Why would you regret cracking that little egg? We've cracked open our "fart eggs"...it is adorable. Our's even had a yolk in it.

I had one like that and was told that it is called an "egg fart" It was so tiny compared to all the other eggs I get. I was told this just happens some time and it's nothing to worry about. Mine didn't have any yolk in it, just white.

Good luck.
