She has huge earlobes

Any idea what breed she is? She’s about two years old and this is the first time I noticed how huge her earlobes are. I believe she lays a brown egg.

There are two types of Cinnamon Queens offered by the hatcheries. One is a regular red sex link, but there is also one that is also sex linked, but looks a little different. This type is made by crossing a Rhode Island Red rooster over a silver laced Wyandotte hen, and that's what you've got. Wyandottes have rose combs, which are usually genetically dominant over single combs, so that's why this type of CQs mostly have rose combs. Confusing, I know, but that's what's going on with your hen.

They can have rose combs sometimes I think...I feel like I've seen it before. Unless I'm thinking of another breed.

I would say she looks like a barnyard cross, personally.

lol. Wow I just noticed how full her crop is tonight- she must have pigged out before bedtime!

She came from a local feed store that orders the different variety packs from a couple different hatcheries and then just dumps them all in one bin together.

I'm also thinking she could be a Cinnamon Queen...
