I think I have broody #4. A red Cochin who now needs a name.
Up to date we have
Belle- white midget turkey eggs
Helga- Frizzle Cochin eggs
Wilma- d'uccle and turken eggs.
Now what to put under #4???

My other broody Rita now has to little stripped babies under her! She has two red sex links and another EE that hasn't pipped yet but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

QUESTION!!! well to me its sort of an emergency lol. day 21 was yesterday and nothing! ok i might have my days a little mixed up since i have so much going on,but i decided to candle to see if i could even tell anything. i only looked at one egg and all i could see was dark with an air sack. is this what i should be seeing at this point,and how many days should i let her go before giving up. we had a few cold nights in a row,down into the thirtys,and a friend of mine said i should have brought her in,but i didnt want to disturb her so i didnt,would that have any effect on hatching. we will be so bummed if we dont get any babies!
