well she finally went to her final resting place...
she took a turn for the worse about 2 weeks ago
we brought her to the vet, he said that she was not in pain and we could take her home and wait for IT to happen, that way she was "home" and as comfortable as anyone could want to be on their final days...OR he could give her the injection and take care of it right there..we decided to take her hme with assurances from the vet she was in no pain.
I left for work this morning and said bye to her and walked out the door...I came home at 4:00pm and she was gone..I found her lying in the back hall lying in her bed...she will be greatly missed
edited to add..She was burried under the evergreen trees in front of the chicken coop, this is where she used to lie watching the chickens eat the table scraps, when the chickens were done she would go clean up after them..so we figured this might have been one of her fave spots..(its the only time she got table food)
