That was in their first winter, and when she just started laying. I just joined BYC then.

Clove has been doing fine, and is one of the two hens who never stopped laying throughout her second winter. She is on the skinny side, and I wonder if the bacteria is a factor.

Juniper who died was not the fastest one in getting treats, still she was the chubbiest one. So I suspect ALL of them have fatty liver now since most of them would get to the treat before Juniper!
