for WV. Now let's forget this ever happened.
I still have a stupid phone. One of the flip up's. Trac. Dead zone. don't even pretend to know how to text! No face book here for me!

Oh man. Just candled the eggs. If I get 50% it will be nothing short of miraculous. Air cells were horrible. Strange shapes, some this way, that way, rolling down the whole side of the egg. I've never received eggs with air cells like this. I noticed that the eggs that were the oldest had the most a/c damage because they were bigger. I'm really disappointed. It's not the senders fault. It's USPS! Next time I do shipped eggs, I will pay for overnight shipping no matter what. It's worth it to pay more to get more chicks then paying a lot anyway or only getting a few, if any. I decided to add some water and raise humidity to 40% because I don't want the air cells growing to fast until they stabilize. What do you guys think about that?

Sounds ok... sorry they were so damaged... :hugs what kind of eggs are they?

I got 3 turkey poults to hatch with awful air cells. One of them was right down the side. The shipped egg article that I use says to go dry in order to stabilize the air cells. I waited 7 days to start turning on these ones. 3 out of 6 hatched. But go with your gut.

I think that would be why they recommend not turning for so many days think positive good thoughts I think 1200 miles is to far to ship eggs my self . unless you go with air overnight like you said.
