I was curious about that as well.

Why is candling done on Day 7. To me candling on Day 10 is more informative?

I think the biggest reason is because your charts all show day 7 so people have something to compare to at day 7 but not so much at day 10. (Where air cells are concerned.)

I don't know. That's a good question. I suppose because it's a 1/3 of the way through incubation. I usually candle on day 4 to check fertility. On larger fowl eggs, day 10 is standard. When I set eggs from my own flock, I'll candle every single night!
