Some do, some don't, but my pullet's combs stop at the hair line. Only the boy's combs grow that far back. I did say pullet, didn't i? Told you I was horrible at this...
Mine usually start crowing around 16 weeks

Thanks anyway. I've had them for 13 weeks, and was told they were 12 weeks old when I got them, but I think they were like 6-7.
So I guess I need to listen to them more closely in the morning, or keep looking for eggs...

I've always been a big 'Bones' fan from season one. There was one episode where they had a visiting Japanese doctor who was part of the androgynous movement and the team was trying to figure out if she was a she or a he (the part was played by a female). That's all I can think of with all these adrogynous comments. (It was concluded she was a he at the end after Angela hugged him/her...lol)

That is exactly why I don't sell guaranteed pullets until they are about 5 months old. I'm finding the Ams are about as hard to distinguish, too
