I missed this post. Thank you! I'm constantly checking local but no good breeders around me. I actually just found one and I'm waiting for a response. We have the animal auctions too. I've never been but plan on going in the spring! I've had really good luck with shipped. Serious breeders should package well and stand behind their eggs. Next time, I will pay for overnight shipping, no matter what. That seller you got those eggs from was just so wrong!! I'm glad it all worked out for the best though!!

The cat came with the property. It's lucky to be getting fed every night. I have no idea if his original owners ever gave him shots, though.

That is crazy!! What are they going to do?? I walked out of the house last night and I had just fed the cat out the back door (he's always trying to sneak in) so I kicked him a little with my foot to keep him out and it was not the cat. The cutest, fluffiest, young skunk looked up at me! Thank goodness he did not spray me!!

I see this all the time and all I can think is why doesn't the hatcher start it (the app setting) on the day after they actually set- then it would match how we count.

@WVduckchick I will probably end up with a bunch of mixes. We have 1 Peking hen, 2 Rouen hens, 1 Peking drake, 1 Rouen drake and 2 Khaki Campbell drakes. I set them at noon last Friday so I am day 6 starting day 7 soon. Haven't candled yet, will try to get some pictures when I do.

@AmyLynn2374 could set the date for the following day. But it is silly that it doesn't count like other hatchers do.

I think you already told us that, I'm sorry. Gonna be a long 3 more weeks lol. But those will be some cute babies! I'll be just a few days behind you with chicks I hope to set next Monday or Tuesday
