She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I'm supposed to get 10 Bev Davis line chicks in the mail tomorrow morning. I hope they are fairing well right now in shipping.

Bev recommended the breeder to me since she does not sell chicks or eggs.

Some of her eggs:

I was hoping to get shipped eggs, but she does not ship eggs due to already low Marans hatch rates and my other source for pure BD Marans fell through.

So, I found a place for my extra roos. Took them to an Amish family. They took Gibbs too. When I left they were all out ranging with their hens. Beautiful big buff looking hens...lol We got talking and I might try to hatch some turkey eggs for them next spring. They also had some bob white quail, my son fell in love with them. He wants a couple. They make the most adorable sound! SO, we might try our hand at those next spring too if we are in a position to and I'll let him raise a pair-as long as he is going to learn to take care of them.
That sounds perfect. I'm glad you found a home for him. I stuck 3 quail eggs in the incubator a few days ago! They were old and my neighbor was throwing them out. So I did it just for fun. I don't see any development yet, so probably a bust but I want a pair too!
Man now their trying to sell me Russian high school girls where do these adds come from .stuff like is supposed to be illegal. and Ebay wants to sell me marans eggs from a breeder with a 87% positive feedback rating.
Any ideas what the negative feedback was about??
Why? It's not like they're being guarded by a knight... Now stand aside, worthy adversary. 'Tis but a scratch. A scratch? Your arm's off. No it isn't. What's that, then? I've had worse. You liar. Come on ya pansy.
Oh god. My best friend used to do this to me for hours when we were young! Drove me nuts. You're giving me flashbacks to endless summers when I was about 15!
Wade Jeane. My BCM are his line, though severely diluted. My Am's parents were directly from Paul, and I can't wait to see them full grown. Here's a blue from yesterday Ok, here's a black, too...
Very nice!

If you saw my later post, I did say that the pic made them appear a shade darker than they were, and would get a chart for future pictures.
I did see that and I meant to mention it. You sir are very honest. Hats off. But those eggs do look amazing. I'm jelly.

This parrot has ceased to be!
No, no.....No, 'e's stunned!!

are you the expert tracker could be either coon or possum contact your fish and game department and ask if anything else is in your area wrap your trap with wire cloth closing the small holes stake it to the ground . coons will roll it over to get the bait rats can clean a big trap out as well any animal to big for the trap can spring it and get out. I have heard of fox's climbing fences but never seen it . turn the ground around the trap to mud circle your coop father away each pass that thing is coming and going on a beaten path find it. put a leg breaker there .you have to get a clear track to know what your dealing with I'm starting to think you have a bobcat. in which case tracking will be hard .if you see one Its by pure chance .if this is true a snap trap is the only way. two things water and food . set traps where it drinks and where it eats .you know where it eats now find where it drinks. you may need a trapper. check CL look for hunting dogs call on every add you see and ask for help with your varmint .also your local game warden may know one. my lives next door to me .

Nope, not an expert anything. I have several google diplomas, though.

Thanks for this. I thought of searching a trapping forum, but when I'm online I stay so busy, wasting time here. I've searched for droppings, but haven't found any. Found a place in the fence that borders the property, that's where we keep catching the opossums. I'll turn the ground tomorrow and look for tracks again(nursing a toothache today, hard enough just keeping e1 alive). I'm also considering a snap trap.

I'd say you are way better off getting the chicks. I can't wait to see how they grow out

It's awful. I have that movie memorized, my OCD is kicking in, and I am just waiting for the right post to throw out another one. Someone please ask me how to stop the rabbit

Is there a way to stop the rabbit? How do we do it SC?

With the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch:

How does it... um... how does it work?

I know not, my liege.

Consult the Book of Armaments.

Armaments, chapter two, verses nine through twenty-one.
And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large chu...

Skip a bit, Brother...

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.

Amen.

Amen.

Right. One... two... five!

Three, sir.

Three!
