Well it was the same yesterday (just looked blind in the eye) and my neighbor is away, so I came to feed them. And this is what it looks like today! Do you think he/she is in pain??

Not entirely!! I don't have the turner so I'm not completely lazy. Plus I like to turn mine 7x daily

Infraorbital sinus infection. I am sure there is pressure, but since the head is up and feathers down, I'd say not much pain. That sinus is filled with hardened pus and will likely remain that way for its life unless it is surgically extracted.

The bacteria that caused it will be infectious by contact, and will be released through the mouth and nose. Avoid touching the bird if you can, especially the face, and be sure to scrub before going home. DO NOT bring it home. Surgery could be readily accomplished but that infection will not kill the bird.
