Fabio is the laying machine. The girls just hatch 'emscary part is my Silkies are laying machines right now...![]()
Yep... it was a gap in the shell, repaired after the fact so not as thick as the rest... SC is describing the ones that eges overlapped and got repaired so thicker in rest of shell...
Go ahead and set it, usually there's no issue with then, but it is easier for bacteria to get through there since it's thinner, so sniff it often...
There you guys go, dragging my brother into it again![]()

You can feel where over that spot is softer and smoother then the rest of the egg. I was going to put a thin strip of clear packing tape over it because I thought they were hairline cracks. Should I skip the tape?
I can name more than two, so if anyone needs any I got extras.Trueth be known, probably half of my nieces/nephews have or do. My oldest nephew started with stealing prescription meds (and ending up in prison) to getting out, trying to straighten up but when you have a felony, not many employers will take the chance on you, to going back and upgrading to heroin-going back to jail/prison not sure which the last time, and out again just recently. Vicious cycle that doesn't break until the user is truely ready and willing to change. Sad thing is a lot of users go right back to the old "friends" and fall right back into it.
That reminds me, probably going to have more surprises after work sometime this week. Those girls...Ha... ha...... ha... my Silkies are the only ones NOT broody...![]()
I was drinking with dad at 10, "smoking" with him at 12. I had a few wild years after high school, but I had seen what it did to him and didn't want it to happen to me. Drinking and smoking I think I could have lived with, but the powders and needles are a whole different story...Me too. Lots of family members on both sides. My step dad is in hardcore denial! He only drinks at 8am if he's really "stressed" not because he has a problem! I was allowed to drink with my family since I was 10 yrs old. By the time I turned 21 had enough and quit drinking! Didn't even have a sip on my 21st birthday.
That is super cool! I've never seen that before.

Your nephew sounds an awful lot like my brother. He's 41 and he's been in and out of juvie and jail since he was 15. And it is sad to watch and see someone struggling like that. They want to straighten up and fly right but they can't get that monster off their back. And its so true that nobody wants to hire a felon. My brother got lucky and had a friend that owned a business. He had actually got in trouble with him before and they both went to jail but his friend actually did straighten up and get his life back together. ThT was years ago and now my brother is back in jail again, this time for hitting his girlfriend because she refused to give him the crack pipe back.I can name more than two, so if anyone needs any I got extras.Trueth be known, probably half of my nieces/nephews have or do. Would be interesting to know what percentage the oxygen decreased vs how much the CO2 increased and what kind of instruments they were using to measure them. Sounds like an experiment I could really mess up at home!I'd be very careful about blindly following the advice of a study done under controlled conditions. An LG would smell like a locker room after 10 days.

But the thread wouldn't be the same!
I knew that would at least get some kind of a response from youWould be interesting to know what percentage the oxygen decreased vs how much the CO2 increased and what kind of instruments they were using to measure them. Sounds like an experiment I could really mess up at home!
Oh please........... If I thought that I wouldn't still be here after 19,000 posts - would have been long gone.
Ummm - there wouldn't be a thread at all - He said (SC), She said (Amy) - LOL.
